Seth and Brigid, I’m so
excited that you like the gifts I made for your children. I’ve been knitting since I was 9 years old, I learned in 4-H 🍀. I remember a dear friend of mine got my oldest son a “big brother gift” when my youngest was born. It’s important to me that all the kids get a gift to celebrate the birth of a new sibling…just like we do when we celebrate the birth of our Lord.

PS: I on purpose chose a pattern that looked like Irish Aran knitting ❤️

You should test the durometer before and after 50+ miles to see if it changes at all. This would probably yield better results after 200 plus miles but I feel like it would be interesting to see how the durometer changes as mid soles break down

I picked up knitting and it has been the most rewarding hobby because I’m able to make things for my baby cousins and family members and I find that they appreciate those gifts Waymore than any store-bought gifts

Montbell was founded in 1975 by Isamu Tatsuno in Osaka, Japan. Montbell is mainly known for its feather-light down and rain jackets as well as its light and stretchy sleeping bags. They make sure that the products, despite their light weight, are functional, comfortable and durable. Hence their motto "Light & Fast, yet designed to last".

QD: I love designing and building things ever since I was a little boy. I currently do woodworking, metal fabrication/welding, sewing (tents, packs, running clothes), knife making, and coffee roasting( I designed and built a industrial coffee roaster). I would love to send you some coffee but I don't make Starbucks dark/burnt roasts, if that is ok. Thanks for being another fantastic source of inspiration!

Got the Mach 5 earlier in the week in the same colourway. Running my first marathon at Gold Coast in them. Worth mentioning the V&W values on the side of Hoka Shoes as the 5's weight is lighter by 7grams in my size 11 than the 4 and has slightly more volume of the profly+. I've found the feel of that cushion for the pushin in the mid to forefoot. Good luck with the new addition and the shoes!

QD: With the world in turmoil it is vital that we all go back to our roots and learn how to do things with our hands. Never know when you will need to use that to bless the lives of your loved ones or your neighbors in need.
I love to make things out of wood but have really enjoyed learning how to make bread. So much more flavor and I know every ingredient that is in it!

QOD: I've taught myself to crochet, weave, throw pottery, needle felting, hand-processed photos (i.e., dark rooms), cook and bake, basic landscape painting, and have dabbled with stained glass as well. I can do create videos and do audio editing as well. I love learning new skills.

QD: Late to this vlog since we were traveling….I make music with my hands and breath (professional flutist, 25 yrs in the Cleveland Orchestra until 2005), I went through a sewing phase when I made a lot of clothes many years ago, and I’ve been enjoying art as a hobby since I was a child.

I use a hyrdapak SkyFlask Speed 350. Soft so it conforms to the hand. Flip top makes it super fast to refill at an aid station. Weighs 44g.

QOD: A bit of a strange one but I am a cosmetic chemist and hand make hair/grooming/skincare products for my own family company that I run from home. Respect to all of those people with unique skills in making incredible things like Stacey!

my handy work is everywhere. I am very detail oriented, so being a jeweler/gemologist is a natural fit for me.

Something that’ll store well in a flip belt. I find the bite valves on soft flasks by solomon leak by in my belt.

Raced the 20-mile “King of the Mountain” Sky Race in the Spanish Peaks near Cuchara Ski Area southwest of Walsenburg, Colorado last weekend. 6, 000’ of vertical ascent total. Had a blast! Placed 7th overall and, at age 58, am upping my mountain-running game thanks in part to your example and encouragement. Thank you, Seth and DGR family! Happy roads and trails

I used to make little boxes out of Christmas cards into a wreath.

I've owned a Mont-Bell jacket before! I wore it almost every day, it was super lightweight and super comfortable. I'd definitely recommend anything from Mont-Bell. And believe it or not, Mont-Bell is a Japanese brand!

QD: I have always liked to create things since I was a kid and have work at a craft store for 20 years which fueled my creativity even more. I love to make mini books/albums, cards and watercolor.
