For a man to qualify as “Diamond Bachelor” or “Quality Real Estate”, you need to have money and some social standing, as you can probably tell from the “diamond” and “real estate” in those nickname.

Without those, the man is instead called “屌絲”, (pronounced Diao Si) literally meaning “male pubic hair”.

Meanwhile, rich single women (and men, this one is more unisex) are instead called “單身貴族” (pronounced Dan Shen Gui Zu). literally meaning “single noble”.

So don’t let this video fool you into thinking how men got it easy and how unfair the society is towards women. The deciding factor is and has always been about wealth.
