I would like to explain the verse recited at 11:04. The word forelocks is not a very accurate translation for (نواصي- nawassi) a more accurate word would be foreheads.. As a Pharmacist and a PhD student in neuropharmacology I can tell you with certainty that humans capacity to process information and make decisions is the function of the frontal cortex, which sits directly under the forehead. Thus, this verse is telling us that we will be judged by the decisions we made with our frontal cortex ( نواصي- nawassi) and what we committed with our limbs ( اقدام- feet)

I hope this makes sense. Truly, this verse always gives me chills throughout my spine.

The word "mashriq" is taken from "sharaq" which means "to rise".
"Mashreq" means single (sun) rising.
"Mashreqain" means (double) sun rising.
"Mashareq" means multiple (sun) rising (37:5).

HD 131399 Ab planet have triple sunrises and triple sunsets. Today we know what it is, it is a multi-star system.

It is very beneficial and easy to understand, and what is very important is that the brother explains the methods and foundations before going into explanation. You can divide it into several parts if it is too long for you to react to the whole thing, but I think it is definitely something you should watch and listen to.

1. The marks on the faces of the culprits refers to the states in which we will be raised on the day of judgement. Those who will be entering paradise will glow/shine while those destined for hell will be darkened. Nothing at all to do with our worldly appearances.
2. Two gardens either refers to two gardens within paradise or two levels of paradise. (Paradise has many gardens, and people will be placed within them according to their deeds in this life.)
3. Rose coloured sky refers to skies that will be red on the day of judgement.

That line about the two seas meeting but not transgressing always gets me as a sign. The medittarean sea and the Atlantic ocean when they meet at the Gibraltar Strait they dont actually mix but rather flow into each other maintaining their individualities. I always wonder how can you know this without actual tests of these waters which were not possible at the time the Quran was revealed. Then in another Surah where Allah(SWT) is talking about Salt Water and Fresh Water instead of a transgressing boundry he uses the word forbidden boundary meaning that these waters do not flow into each other and there is some kind of barrier between them. AND Guess what Eustaries actually do NEVER mix!! Their water form a lateral boundary with different salinity gradients that keeps the Fresh and Salt water seperate.

When Allah SWT said two gardens he was describing Jannah. I think "In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni " means that in Jannah/Heaven you will have multiple options of pure companionship, meaning that you will have a spouse in heaven.
