John Rowan seems pretty unprepared on the argument, no doubt he is fascinated and passionate by the transpersonal realm but he is clearly biased, lacking of self-awareness and he's not capable to add relevant content to the questions of Dr. House. I wonder how he's a therapist at all.

This was a great interview to find on You tube.  I've read Wilber's Spectrum of Consciousness and it makes a lot of sense;  and I've read Rowan's The Transpersonal but grounding the concept in everyday life, and in therapy eluded me as a practical person - this interview/discussion helped clarify.

A comment in this interview is House when he says a materialistic, atheistic, non religious world view person, wouldn't be coming to see a transpersonal therapist, to which Rowan replies, No, they wouldn't.  Is that the type of person that should most especially go to see a transpersonal therapist?

The fact of the matter is (I guess) . . . that essential knowledge can manifest in almost any kind of non-essential form.

Some forms you can put up with (you yourself being a form) . . . and some you can't.

This guy has useful things to say . . . if you can put up with his form.
