I’ve been reading the comments and a lot of individuals are misinformed!
There’s 2 types of Blue Devil Sealers!
Yellow label needs the thermostat removed!
White label the thermostat does not have to be removed! I used the white label Blue Devil in my 2005 Corolla and it worked to perfection!

I’m going to try this tomorrow for my 2015 Subaru Legacy. I have a new engine coming but I need my car for work or I will go broke. So glad I found this product even though I haven’t used it yet and I’m very glad I found this video because most likely I would have ended up doing it the wrong way. Thanks a bunch!! Will update post tomorrow!!

I followed your guidance and used the blue devil head gasget sealer treatment, I am letting it cool and then will put thermostat back in. So far so good. No more bubbles are going into overflow tank. Or into the air bleeder funnel while engine was running. Fingers crossed 🤞 will let you know how things turned out over the next week or so. Thanks for a great instructional video. This beats forking out $1500 + to have head gasget replaced. Cheers TS in Central Texas.

Used on my 97 Acura TL back in still going and no overheating in 10/14/23. Just acquired a 95 Legend and the same thing and used it and worked.

This works great. I’ve used it on multiple cars over the years and they always worked. Even on severely blown heads that over heat in 10 mins just gotta keep recycling every time it cools let it run again and again it’ll seal soon. One car it lasted 6 months another it lasted 3 years. It’s a guessing game good if you’re broke and can’t afford a head job. Just don’t race the car ever ride it easy

I let my mechanic do the job on Prius 2010. I brought him 2 gallons of antifreeze and he only used one. He did the job within an hour. On my way to work I saw the temperature light came on. When I get to work, I opened the hood. There was barely nothing on the reservoir. On my way home The temperature light came on twice and went out. I figured it was low on coolant. at home, I started my car in maintenance mode. Turn the heater on, but there was no heat and the car started overheating. I could’ve done a better job myself just don’t have the time now. I think my thermostat is probably clogged. Please does anybody have any suggestion what to do next?

Awesome video by the way you’re helping a lot of people thank you.

I tried blue devil pour and go at first and didn’t take thermostat out. I folled directions and let it sit for 50 mins but little did I know my heater core was clogged up and that’s why I wasn’t getting any heat in the cabin. So since I wasn’t getting proper coolant circulation in my system I drained it and then the next day my gasket tester kit came in the mail so I done a head gasket chemical test on it and the liquid turned green from blue. The kit works like this… You pour the blue chemical in the flask and put it in your radiator opening. then you squeeze the bulb and if the blue liquid turns yellow then you have a blown head gasket. Since my liquid turned green that told me that I have a small leak in the head gasket even after
The 1st batch of pour and go blue devil. So I replaced my heater core and got my heat working and coolant flowing good then I bought the non pour and go bottle and took my thermostat out and followed the instructions carefully. Let it cool down and drained the blue devil and refilled with coolant and the used my gasket tester kit again to see if it turned green again and was very impressed with blue devil! My tester liquid was as blue as it was when it came out of the bottle!!
So very impressed and as far as I can tell there is no damage to my car system and boy does it feel good to have my heat back at the start of this winter!!

Hey man, thanks for really great video. I used this product on my 99 Mustang 3.8 and it worked really well. The only problem is that the head gasket blew again and I am trying to find out if you can use this product second tiime. The main question is, would it seal again?

Thanks for the excellent explanation. Most people who do not know now will understand how a coolant system works... This is what I was wondering. The bottle does not say to remove thermostat and I thought to myself that if this stuff works it can clog radiator or thermostat or heater core. As a result of your video I will be removing thermostat, stat.

Will be doing this on my '94 BMW E34 later today, just have to remove the thermostat. If it doesn't work, I plan on rebuilding the head anyway. I also by passed the heater core as I don't want to risk damage or within the heater valves. Those are not cheap to replace.

Excellent explanation, my follow up question is as follows, will you need to bleed while adding coolant?

I have coolant leak coming out of bell housing, like fast and alot. If the truck is off when you add it wont it just run out like the coolant?
