My dad worked as a custodian at a school i taught at. He laugh when he passed my room and the kids were giving me a hard time. Then when they knew he was my father. They all talked to him when they'd see him. I not embarrassing. It was actually a great memory.

I was young, my driving permit had expired and I had to take the test again, I ended up failing it and my mother was furious. We ended up at the grocery store after I failed my permit test and she kept going up to strangers and making a huge scene on how “stupid” her daughter was and asking these strangers if they failed or pass their exam and just flat out embarrassing me. Finally, we were at the meat counter and the butcher was someone we knew, when my mom started making a scene again and being very derogatory about me when I broke down crying and I left, high tailing it into the bathroom where I ended up sobbing in one of the stalls. The bathroom was busy and not a single person asked me if I were okay, and after a good fifteen minutes, I guess someone had reported me sobbing in the stalls that someone came in to ask if I were okay.

I wasn’t, but I told them I was and they just left. My mom came in maybe another ten minutes later and demanded I hurry up or she was going to leave me there.
