Minelab Go Find 60 Metal Detector In Depth Test

Testing the Minelab Go Find 60 in my test bed
30 targets total 2 points if hit both ways
Keep in mind this is a small sample of what you may find in the field. Conditions change for the better or worse.
Minelab Go Find 60 score = 29 out of 66 points with ease of use and portability as strong points. It tends to read good targets as iron once you hit below 7 inches but still goes deeper than expected.
Detectors tested so far in this bed

Great video.  Your test bed is fantastic and really shows what this machine is capable of.  Subscribed.

Another dig it all or never find the good stuff machine. Most all the detector Comp's are ruff on the potential new customer for life by making them dig tons of trash at the start and end up frustrated and quitting the hobby early.

Excellent reviews on a real world detectorist's battleground.

Good video thanks. Kind of what I expected for the price of the machine. Still good for someone who wants to get into the hobby without spending to much money.

Just good for backpacking into tough areas for area sampling and then bring in the Big Boys

The best video test I'found for Go Find 60, great work! Btw, do you know how many points the Fisher F22 would score in this test?? I need to decide which one to buy 😕

I wonder if the 66 picks up deep targets without showing up as iron?

It (is) a shame it doesn't go deeper. Companies like Minelab and Bounty Hunter get a good thing going (like the little BH VLF) then they ruin it by not designing it to go deep. I will say that the BH VLF, like the Go Find 60, has a quick response/recovery time and the little $65 BH has exactly the same low/high tone sound as my $780 DeepTech Vista Gold. Makes me wonder if the DeepTech company maybe pirated the sound program out from under the Bounty Hunter VLF. The foundations for the Bounty Hunter VLF originated back when First Texas was making the Treasure Tracker series of detectors back in the 80s. They're no longer made by the way but have an almost identical solid coil as the BH VLF from modern times.

Nice Video, But you didn't mention how cheap it's made and wobbly it is for a minelab GL HH

Hey, does anyone know if detectability changes with ground texture, such as sand or soil?

What machine would you go for? The fisher f44 or the minelab go find 60.
