Excellent video. Privilege in JW-land is called slavery in today's world. Your ice cream money is a sign that you need to donate your money to Watchtower. In today's world, it means Watchtower wants to take food out of a kids mouth so that Watchtower can have money. Money in which Watchtower has plenty. Watchtower sold their Brooklyn Heights Headquarters for over $2 Billion dollars. They don't need donations.

I think that he almost no external solution to get out of indoctrination. The solution comes essentially through a long internal journey. This trip will necessarily go through the return of a certain self-esteem. This self-esteem will go through confidence in your own thinking skills without being afraid of consequences. Little by little reason will gradually take back the place it should never have left.

Yes Thank you Jay👏it is so true they don’t care about people’s happiness , constantly being told study more, go out in service, attend all the meetings. After awhile I saw how people were being taken advantage of they were being squeezed like a lemon and getting everything they could from them. Getting free labor any way they could clean the Kingdom Hall if you happen to be a electrician, or a plumber great, . Going out in all weather conditions It was ridiculous to see 70, 80, years old out in 90 degree weather going door to door that’s how people get heatstroke, and heart attacks at that age.

I am from Canada.. so much craziness in my family...I heard some where that the type of speaking that the JWs use is a type of hypnotic speaking and that Hitler used it..I cannot remember the name if it. Maybe that's why they used to send the brothers on course to learn how to use tones of their voices in a certain way...one wonders....

Great video!! I used to think I was going crazy because I thought I was the only one noticing all of the things you talked about! I used to question my own faith all the time because none of what I was hearing "felt right". You look around, and all the other JWs are nodding along with smiles plastered on their shiny faces and it makes you think that you must not be "good enough" to have that kind of faith in the borg. At least now I know better 🙂 and my daughter will never have yo know those feelings of worthlessness and despair. 😔

The term Governing Body is used in Corporations, it's never mentioned in the bible, so this should set off some alarm bells!.. It's a business term only!

All CULTS are run by a charismatic leader/s...and you cannot question them since they "speak for" god. This is a telltale sign to look out for.
Also they will NEVER help you in times of need, ..ie financially, materially. You will always have to give your all.

Always remember, what don't feed you will feed off you!

You are so insightful. You're saving a lot of people millions on therapy. You have to recognize when someone has used your beliefs to control you. You don't have to give up your beliefs, just reclaim them as yours and if others have them fine, if they don't, that's fine too. Gosh, using love that way is dangerous 🙄 you can get people to do anything.
