Braxtyn and Batman save the day!
10 year-old Braxtyn (Brax) is a vibrant and positive 10-year-old with a big imagination and an even bigger love for Batman. In fact, he's looked up to his favourite superhero for years.
Brax, like his brother Dre, has Hunters syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. Kirri, Brax's mum says the two are inseparable and support each other through the treatment they undergo side by side. So, it was no surprise when Brax's wish to go on an adventure with Batman and catch the bad guys came true - Dre was by his side through it all.
When the day came, Gotham City's most valuble painting 'The Bettewish Fleur' was stolen, and Brax and Batman managed to retrieve the painting by following the clues left by the thief. Working together, the pair put the bad-guy into police custody and rescued both the painting and all the staff who had been captured by the thief.
Braxtyn and his family had an absolute blast! Braxtyn's mum Kirri says Brax loved the entire day.
"In the lead up to the wish, Brax was going to school and telling all his friends he was going to meet Batman. He didn't sleep at all the night before, and woke up at 6:30am the day of the wish and looked outside and said 'I think I can see Batman's car!'"
Batman may have found his new courageous sidekick in Brax!
