What a legendary anime. It started off lighthearted and ended with some depression. Not to mention the power system that is Nen. The rules are _damn_ simple, but it offers basically limitless possibilities of what kind of power you can get. On the other hand, it won't be overpowered because there will always be a way to counter it, like a natural enemy.

1:55 “You just try again” when Zushi and Wing are on screen, it’s as if Wing is telling Zushi to work harder, in contrast to Killua and Gon he has a lot more work to do to catch up, so he needs to “try again” and again.
2:01 “You just go away” when Hisoka is on screen, Hisoka is the main adversary in the arc, Gon’s first serious opponent, so they tell him to just go away.
And the same with Kite at 4:34. “You just try again”, it’s as in when he died and came back as a little chimera ant girl, so in a sense, he did “try again”.
Same at 4:40, we see Chimera Ants marching, they are the main antagonistic force in that arc and the singer tells them to go away, just like with Hisoka in the second opening.

the last moments of komugi and meruem still haunts me to this day, they were both still playing in the dark with bits of en as the only source of light, as they exchange moves verbally as they always do, meruem always ask komuugi if shes still there, till meruems final breath. that scene just fckin scares me, and made me think of the horror of dying, or worse, dying alone.
