Michelle Obama on being called an 'angry black woman'

CBS will air first lady Michelle Obama's final interview inside the White House with Oprah Winfrey. In a preview, Mrs. Obama shares her thoughts on being labeled an "angry black woman" after President Obama began his campaign for president in 2007. I remember hearing stories of when she was in China, being absolutely awful and hateful to the hotel staff. Black or not, she sounds like an awful person when the cameras are off... or maybe had a really really bad day?

This is such a sad decade for humanity. First Lady Michelle Obama, created Let Girls Learn dealing with girls education around the world, dealt with childhood obesity by asking school districts to actually provide healthy foods to kids. actually opened up the White House to kids, and created a White House garden in which kids from different areas, which included American Indian Reservations to come in and pick, eat, and learn about vegetables in fun and exciting ways, actually bought in the arts, etc for children, had children from foster care, Girls Scouts, she danced on stage to promote exercise, appeared on Sesame Street, went to the Olympics and the Special Olympics to cheer on our teams, visited our Veterans, with Dr. Biden, and actually worked with our Veterans and families, stood up for women rights, made affordable fashion chic, so working women didn't feel the need to buy with their yearly income, gave out so many hugs and displayed a geniune concern for children around the world. Now people may not agree with her beliefs but at the end of the day, FLOTUS gave America and the world the opportunity to see something positive. How many First Ladies in American history, actually created College Day, in which she and the President focused on higher education and to be proud of that. She made the student that got accepted into trade schools, junior college, 4 year college, Universities, Grad School excited about education. Most people focused on the 4 year acceptance, yet her College Day, had kids excited about being in trade schools, and junior colleges. At the end of the day, when History is being written, FLOTUS will be remembered for her undying dedication for our youth and making sure they mattered. Write the negative posts, etc but America was blessed to have this humbled spirit in the White House, and that's why she's loved overseas because she able to relate to everyday people. Folks say, well she's not Jackie Kennedy, well, Jackie preserved the White House artifacts, remodeled old buildings, Mrs. Obama focused on the human condition. Think about that. Yeah, the little girl from the southside of Chicago that was disrespected and shamed for the last 8 years. People should let it go about the flag, or the "For the first time in my life I'm proud of this country", when she represented what the flag stands for; Honor, sacrifice, respect for one's country. Who knows what tomorrow brings, but today, our First Lady represents what real patriotism is.jmo commence with the hate.
