We bought him a new couch so we didn’t have to move his old heavy couch (it’s a sleeper sofa and it’s about 200 pounds…). I have one more piece of advice for you: when you pack your parcels, put some filling material in them, bubble wrap or something similar, the post office is not gentle with parcels, especially here in Germany, and buy yourself a parcel tape dispenser, then it's easier to seal the parcels, 😏
