Gorgeous piece and so much easier than sewing the cubes!.I suggest a lap rug or quilt.

For the weaving, try Clover's 'Easy Loop Turner' as an alternate to 'That PurpleThing'. They are 10" long which helps to weave. Any longer loop turner would help.

I bought a machine to make bias tape so I could do an appliqué stained glass piece. Maybe 12 years ago. And another that cuts strips. Expensive Got too busy and neither has ever been removed from their boxes.

This is perfect to finally unbox them and use them.

So pretty!!! I have a massive stash of batiks that might work for this. Might not.
