This is the reason why Tony Banks is the finest keyboardist on the planet - the complexity of his playing, his moody compositions and cleverly woven chord changes within every song are so fluid while insanely melodic that NO ONE compares. Love Keith E, Rick W and Richard W to name a few, but Banks is in a different league all his own! HE IS THE ABSOLUTE

Supper's ready, una de las obras cumbres del rock progresivo, la compuso cuando tenía 20 años!! y Fith of fifth cuando tenía 22!! Lo que hizo en Génesis fue algo increíble. Mi más profunda admiración para este gran músico!! Genio absoluto!!

Tony is amazing musician. Compared to some contemporary virtuosos, he isn't too much focused on "shredding", but has strong sense of melody and gift of songwriting. First Of Fifth is his masterpiece, he wrote most of the song including melody for the flute and guitar solo .

Who ever Tony's early classical teachers were, he did them proud. 👍

Tony Banks was for me, what made all that early stuff fill me with awe. Everyone brought a lot to the table of course, Pete's lyrics, voice and showmanship (though he didn't write as much of the lyrics as one would assume) Phil's amazing drumming, Steve's understated guitar pieces and musical idea, but what Tony brought surrounded all of it. A very under rated musician!
