When Ruth and Naomi were traveling to Bethlehem during a great famine, Naomi was bitter after tragedy hit their family. Even in that state, she was unknowingly carrying out God’s eternal plan to bring about the lineage of Christ.

42 year old male here, was lost for many years, even stopped being Christian for a while. I struggle with bad spending and saving habits. I earn quite decently, no mortgages with a wife who works and an 8-year-old kid but I literally go broke days just days after getting paid and basically live from hand to mouth till the next paycheck. Hoping on God for a change. The famine is Over!

My wife of six years just went to jail last night, our son is about to go to jobcorps in two weeks, Ive been unemployed for 3 1/2 wks, my truck just broke down today! Yet I praise GOD and His Joy is my strength! The enemy will not crush me thru this trail I will place my eyes upon the LORD. I will go harder; yet rest underneath HIS wings.
