●I'll be installing Windows 7 on my childhood laptop which is a HP ProBook 4510s. It has an SSD installed. It has Windows Vista on it. I thought this would be a good video to compare the differences in performance with Windows Vista and Windows 7 on an SSD since Windows 7 nativelty supports SSDs and is optimised for them whilst Windows Vista is not.

Windows 7 is such a great operating system, it has so many charms that aren't in modern versions of Windows anymore.

A little piece of nostalgia... HP Probook 4510s got me through college. I was keeping it around for many years just for sentimental reasons.

Unfortunately I finally had to trash it when moving countries last year.

But yes, it was a great laptop with a truly amazing keyboard.

Before Windows 11 was released. I read an article, that Windows 7 was the most used OS on planet earth. I still have an older laptop that is pre-installed with Windows 7.

I still daily Windows 7 on a few of my systems. it's so stable and user-friendly. I've refurbished many laptops for family members and their friends who just wanted a clean system for daily tasks and no creepy 10/11 telemetry and bloatware nonsense.

I just got my childhood laptop back. It was a Dell Inspiron 1525 that ran Windows Vista. I got it for my 7th birthday in 2008 and it lasted a long time, but then it broke after like 12 years. I just found online recently the same exact model and color and everything that laptop. I won it at auction for $28. It came with the power cord, battery, RAM, hard drive, and everything. and even came with the original installation discs. Usually when I look online for Dell Inspiron 1525, one or more of those things I listed is missing, and is mostly being sold for parts only. Well, this had everything. It came factory reset and everything. I’m glad I get my 7th birthday laptop back for the memories.

man, I love Vista and 7, both mainly for the Aero stuff, I am extremely fond of 7 and still use it on a older HP laptop today, I have many memories of messing around on my grandma’s pc on windows 7.

I have a boxed copy of Windows 7 Professional. I love Windows 7 it was just so easy to use and beautiful. I also like Windows 8 and 8.1. I found a laptop with Windows 7 on eBay and I’ll buy it soon and I’m very excited to buy it.

Awesome! It gave me back my childhood memories, when i was 6, I was using Windows 7 and I was kinda good at it, and now, I upgraded it to Windows 10, which was a bad idea. I am 13 Years old now, if I was Windows 7, I could've met myself before ending support in 2020

Nice! I actually recently acquired a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate Signature Edition (00950/25000), and it's basically just ultimate with fancier packaging. Still an interesting item to have in my inventory. I also have a retail copy of Vista Ultimate (32-bit disc only unfortunately), 7 Ultimate, and 7 Home Premium.
