I think that you can’t parry the heavier attacks and that’s why it gave the option to evade, kinda like in God of War. I think this is a good thing tho so people don’t abuse the mechanic to much

The room with all the chairs is definitely an expanded room the Ganados walk in after the bell rings. It’s looks so much better

The cabin fight is going to be insane on the highest difficulty and I can't wait! There will be angry villagers, parsites with razor sharp tentacles, Luis complaining about being strangled by a angry villager shouting Spanish at him, a Thickboy with a cow head chewing on a ball gag, and of course Ashley being useless as always. Going to be one wonderful party 🥳 🎉

I noticed that Leon has two pistols the Red 9 and the lame Government issue, but even with 2 his shoulder holster remains empty. Was really hoping it could be used but it looks like a static model just for show

I like how people pay attention on capcoms work and are looking for every tiny details from the environment all the way to the lightings and gaming mechanism.

I love the fact that Handguns bullets have a sense of weight when you shoot a gannado.

When Leon throws the grenade in Cabin´s fight the table behind the enemies looks really clean, no destruction ...

I kind of wish Ashley could be used as storage instead of just getting in the way. Carry extra ammo or look for ammo or health

They definitely need to change the intensity of that rain, it looks ridiculous.
Plus, adjusting the position of Hunnigan's vid call. Looks bad being in the center.
Should be on the side, or corner of the screen.

This game is definitely a goty contender but i recently watched other videos on the new gameplay and some ppl in the comments have said that the rain looks bad from what I've seen the rain the fog the blizzard effects look awesome and gives that dynamic battle feeling so i replied to those ppl and said get your eyes checked out because there is nothing wrong with the dynamic weather in RE4R it fits the battles with the enemies and if capcom does anything to reduce the weather because of some idiot calling the weather bad i wont be a very happy player im glad most of the ppl are hyped for this game i am too I'll be playing this game all year round when it comes out next month keep up the good reviews red herb 👍

So when looking at this video and gameplay from a month ago there seems to be two different mechanics. There will be a parry using L1 and in this video there’s an evade using R3. I think they can only be used when prompted though.

If you look closer there's a qte 5:08 R3 button "evade"
