Sam Reid not only convince you of the part he is playing but is capable of making you feel everysingle emotion he is experiencing like the Freaking Brilliant Actor that he is!!!

When I saw this scene I was heartbroken and so happy at the same time. The way she accepted him. Sharing her own trauma and following it up with "I'll be right there beside you" and "I love you just the way that you are." 😭 I don't think I've ever seen a more emotionally beautiful scene. And Sam... I mean wow Wow WOW. Exceptional acting. Truly beyond compare.

Oh my god, I knew he was brilliant as Lestat but this is next level acting. Not every actor can cry this convincingly and heartbreakingly on command, some are downright bad at it... but he excells and burns through the screen in a way I've seen few actors do. If he is this in tune with himself and his craft that he can bring emotion like that to the surface as soon as they yell action, there's no limit to what he can do.

He is so beautiful in his vulnerability and she treats him with the greatest compassion and tenderness; in the live news broadcast they do a few moments later they project so much grace and dignity!

I think this scene makes people cry, and lgbtq people cry even more. To be heard, accepted, and loved just "like you are" it's one of the few things in this world that each and every one of us want to hear. You are loved and accepted y'all, remember that!

But deep inside, on a heart level, while watching Sam's performance, I felt for the first time that he is a truly brilliant actor for me. I am incredibly grateful to you, Sam, for this experience. To me, you are the greatest actor of the 21st century. I wish you many long years of life, both human and creative. And I thank you for the very fact of your existence.
