If you give a child adult medicine not intended for children, depending on the jurisdiction and severity of the situation, you could be charged with attempted child abuse, aggravated child abuse, or even attempted murder; this is because administering a potentially harmful substance to a child with the intent to treat them with an adult medication could be considered reckless endangerment of life, even if the intent was not to kill them

This isn’t just about bad batches of teachers (definitely still a huge problem) but also the number of kids who are not being raised by their parents but rather screens and when their parents do decide to pay attention to their kids just let them do whatever they want while blaming everyone their children’s behavior. Unfortunately this can mimic adhd or autism which leads the parent to be even worse at providing structure at home and demanding their child be allowed to behave however they want.

Drugging the kids is completely out of line but a lot of the stress that make these people loose their minds is on the parents. A lot of Kids don’t have structure at home, have zero energy outlets as they are on screens the second they are at home, poor food choices, and the parents have no rules or routines as their babies are *special* and when all of that is required at schools the parents flip. Require parenting classes including was is abuse including what is neglect, go back to requiring parent involvement for homework for the younger kids (ie 30 minutes of reading a PHYSICAL BOOK), and offer additional free of charge classes for parents on skills they should be working on at home based on age level. Like cooking or household repairs including training on said skills. Also if kids have phones at school it needs to be a dumb phone. Calling or texting using the 9 pad only.
