I'm making the transition from java to swift so I can code my app for the iPhone now. I'd like to emphasize that what Chris said about retaining information after watching a tutorial is true. I've found that it's best to actually type out ALL the code with any tutorial that you're following instead of just watching the video or you'll find yourself coming back to the video and trying to figure out how he/she did that certain thing you're trying to do. After a while, you'll find yourself looking up code and tutorials less and less until you're able to write apps without having to research how to code certain things. Keep at it and don't give up.

I found what I'm doing on my lock down time now. Might as well teach myself to code using swift! This first video was just as good as when I started learning C++ in a college class. (I never finished because of life.) This lock down is the perfect time to get back on it!
