Chris, I want to thank you for your very simple explanation of what a class is. I've been learning programming for a while, but whenever I reach OOP in a programming language, I get frustrated because of the fact that I can't understand what a class, and an object is. You're doing very well in teaching programming!

very good explanation for me as a advanced python programmer, to prevent mistakes and misunderstanding complex swift codes!

ok, for now it's not that complicated as I expected it to be. But the jump between the lesson 8 and 9 is enormous! That's true!!! Thank you for sharing, Chris! You are doing a great job!!!

This lesson is a bit hard to follow. Chris is an amazing teacher however for this particular lesson I'd hope to first get a "big picture" of what a class structure typically looks like (ie. first you define class, then you write function, then you have "print" etc). And then perhaps you get into details. While I appreciate all the examples, I feel that they came in too early and I keep thinking ok where this is going etc....Thank you!

to clean up your videos you should unpublish (not delete) old versions. It gets a bit confusing with the (2019) and the ones I started with when I searched.

Hi Chris, pls explain the class and object in technical terms. For eg. If anyone ask what is class and object, what we have to tell? and also pls explain is there any special advantage in struct?

Hi Chris,
I wanted to know the reason why did you take let a:Int = 10 and let b:String, I guess it was not required. We could directly use var c:Employee = Employee() .

I tried a lot of cours, and all of them was not really clear ! Why because, only smart people can explain thinks clearly… and you are smart ! Thank you

When would you use a struct vs. a class?

bitsurfer

wouldn't you use self.name in the class method?

I copied your code right into Xcode and it did not work. I get this message: Cannot use instance member 'addTwoNumbers' within property initializer; property initializers run before 'self' is available.
Suggestions?
