Nice video Laura. I was there in February & the food is incroyable. Like you, I tried the Andouilette. It's an acquired taste I think. The saucisson brioche was lovely. I plan to go back & try some of the dishes you showed which looked delicious also. Bonne appetit !

Hello Laura, I am ”stuck” in Lyon this weekend, sandwiched between two weeks of work.
I reserved a table at Le Poêlon d’or to try the Boudin Noir, the waitress explained that they only have Boudin Noir on the menu in the winter (October-March) so I had the Salad Lyonaisse.

Footnote: Call and check availability of a table to book at the popular Bouchons, and yeah… avoid the Andoulliete.. it’s an aqquired taste I think.

Spending a day at lyon and leaving by train the next day in July. Is there any specific district you would recommend us to stay at?

Spent 1.5 day there many years ago. Randomly tried a few restaurants, small ones as well as a fancy one. Mixed feeling, don’t think they are better or worse than other similar sized cities in France, Italy or Spain.
