I put my wheels on a set of Caliber 3s and the wheels don't spin much. On my old cheap trucks, the same wheels spin real fast.

I'm glad that it wasn't just a placebo effect. When I first got on stock 9" R 44 Cal 3's, I couldn't believe the feel under my feet. It's not that Cal 2's feel bad and when set up properly, they can feel really lively. These just have some new goodness in the rake and the bushing seat that give it extra sparkle and add customization to an already beautiful stock feel? 👌

I just bought some more Venom plug barrels to experiment with in my Caliber III trucks. Going to try out 90a/93a plug in front and 93a/95a plug in back. Should be interesting. I definitely already noticed that I didn't need to tighten the kingpin nut as much as I needed for just the stock 90a bushings.

I've had the 50 cals since the 3s came out and they rip man. Those venom plugs from the factory are so nice

I got the 50 degree with rake, changed the bushings to 87, but may have to go lower Im 64 kilos

Another awesome review that I have been waiting for someone to do. I also have Caliber IIIs and I also think they're the best cast RKP truck on the market. That Venom plug barrel bushing REALLY makes a difference in stability agaiinst speed wobbles. Thanks for the great content!🛹

*Caliber II is my current favourite rkp truck* but I need to try Caliber III. I'm usually not a fan of the rake but I wanna see / feel the Caliber III raked variant.

Whats the difference in performance between a plug bushing and an insert bushing?

Do you think these trucks are capable of going on a 22 inch wheelbase if dewedged in the rear with directional bushing setup? (Softer in front stiff in rear) with venoms?

These are my first longboard trucks. I wanted to try the negative rake but I'm having wheelbites haha. Also, the plug bushings are good but the thing is, only Venom has it now so if your local skateshop is not carrying them, you have no choice but to get it ovearseas. But maybe Riptide or other companies will make it in the future?
