What was in the book? Mike literally had drug dealers bring pills to the house so I'm guessing that book was more of a suggestion than actual rules you could get kicked off the show for.

- Pauly immediately sprinting to the pier after receiving a call that Ronny is in a fight.

- Mike banging his head to a concrete wall in Italy.

Jersey Shore original I think was not scripted because seems more natural but Jersey Shore Family Vacation definitely is scripted because the drama happens in a childish way, is so childish and weird... is not the same and I think is because of that, because is scripted...

These are partially scripted.
Remember when the bartender threw all the ice and drinks at the girls when you actually saw the producer throw ice from the patron's side of the bar, AT Snooki and the bar? Can you imagine a show where they pay millions of dollars to 35 year old mothers of young children to intentionally get blacked out from drinking after deliberately leaving their families for weeks on end to do so?

Some things were staged though because I remember in Italy when the producers threw ice on Snooki and deena and they made it seem that it was the bartender and then the girls smash all the bottles off the bar and go back to the house and deena is drunk and ranting about what happened.
That’s the only big thing though that I ever remember seeing that was staged. The Ron and Sam fights….not staged. You can’t stage rage like that
