I watched part of a documentary about the "Professional apologisers". It's actually a really big deal in Japan, especially in business. There are 4 levels of apology. There is also a particular way to accept or decline the apology. It's fascinating!

There are chicken sexers the world over. If you're in the egg business, you don't want to waste money raising boys. I'm just amazed at the accuracy of the Japanese chicken sexers. It's really hard to do.
We used to raise chickens and, since they were just for our own use, we didn't care about the expense of feeding males. We would buy twice as many chicks as we needed and, when they started to mature sexually, the cockerels would go into the freezer.
My wife and I used to bet on which chicks would be which sex. We referred to the eventual revelation as the "Pullet Surprise."
