Got mine yesterday. Setup worked like a charm. This device looks so beautiful. I started with a Coheed and Cambria Album. What a fantastic listening experience. Now I am really hungry for more. 🙂

Thanks for the outstanding setup video. I was really struggling with the setup and distortion. I thought that I was not getting the counterbalance correct, or had somehow damaged the stylus. After the video helped me confirm that the counterbalance setup was correct, I found the ultimate problem. The "Line" vs "Phone" setting. Once I set it to "Phono" the distortion immediately ceased. This is a great turntable. Thank you Audio-Technica.

this man has a wonderful voice to listen to (thankfully, since I have to watch the first half like 3 times lol)

Great and comprehensive video that sticks to the point. My only two gripes are that it doesn't show how to mount the dust cover (turned out to be fairly easy, but I was a little afraid of breaking the hinges) and it doesn't explain the weird little black disc next to the Counterweight on 0:46 (which is, seemingly, never used...?).

Have one of these on the way, wish I'd watched this first!

I plan to run it through the phono input on my Denon amp and will occasionally want to use BT headphones. Will be really irritating to have to toggle a tiny switch on rear of unit to put it in 'Line' mode to use BT. Surely putting this switch somewhere more accessible would have made more sense? Or maybe BT pairing could be enough to 'disable' the Phono output...

nice turntable, it's a shame because my comes with needle bent to the left and just broke off immediately. Gladly I had some cheap head replacements that's compatible with the arm but I can't believe this pass the final inspection test before it's been send to the shops.

i have the 'black' model and i'd like to know in future upgrades to make it semi automatic so that the end of the vinyl stops and lifts [same as the Dual 505]. it would sell more. Why don't they include a 78 cartridge .from Greece

It's a good turntable for playing records. Except you can't set the tone are on 2 grams... that's way to light... i have to set mine on 3 grams. And the anti skate don't work like it should. I have to set mine between 1 and 2 grams. To be i wish the turntables were made in

Why should the dust cover be removed when records are playing?

An excellent mid-range TT. Curious as to why at the end it’s recommended to fully remove the dust cover when spinning records. 🤔

The suggested grams for the counterweight and the anti-skate tracking value are so off. I’ve been trying to set this turntable up for quite a while now thinking it was some hardware issue, but after drastically changing the recommended settings, it finally worked a little bit. Since I had to eyeball it, the setup still isn’t where I was expecting or wanting it to be when I purchased it. I’m going to continue to try to fine tune it, but I just wish the recommended settings were at least a little closer. 🤦🏻‍♂️

How accurate is the cartridge alignment out of the box? I am blind, so aligning the cartridge myself is out of the question. I can get some assistance with setting the tracking force and antiskate, but I know that cartridge alignment is a much more involved and time-consuming process.

You mentioned the Bluetooth and usb completely disabled when switched to PHONO. Does that mean this particular 120 model doesn’t require the mod to remove the built in pre amp associated with high frequency filters?
