The ability to throw barrel bombs down from the air is super useful for applying blights in Rampage. All of those fire/thunder/water barrel bombs that drop don't have to be placed by a gate before the wave starts. You can hold onto them and when you see a lot of monsters clumped together, just wirebug over them and spike the barrel bomb down onto them and you can apply waterblight, thunderblight, or fireblight to every monster you catch in the explosion.

For tip 7, don't put bombs near the head at all, put them near a part that you want to break, it's even more effective against hard parts since bombs will always do the same damages.

A little something that I recently discovered is that you can re-arrange the auto-crafting order. I use it so when I have a Potion and a First Aid Med, it prioritizes to auto-craft First Aid Med+ when I pick some honey

A further tip for wiredashing: The X and A button versions of the dashes have shorter wirebug cooldowns than the ZR one so use those if you don't need precision and just want to get around quickly.

Tip for farming materials: Hitting a monster with another monsters attack when wyvern riding forces it to drop up to three items. If there's a fight between monsters and the one that loses that fight wasn't the one you want to ride, you can launch it into your target monster the same way you can launch it into walls, which will make the target monster rideable and dismount you from the monster you're currently sitting on.

Extra tip: choose a gathering type Palico, it helps you to get a lot more rewards. You can even bring two if you are willing to give the palimute up.

Using mushrooms on Motley mix gives Herbal medicine, a much better alternative to antidote since it's faster to consume.
Small monster parts also gives a lot of Catalysts if you ever need it.

A Rampage specific tip from me is use Blast weapons in Rampages. Everytime any monster is afflicted with a status condition you get 50 points which levels you up a lot faster and almost guarantees maximum rewards from Rampages so it's highly recommended you create a Teostra Dual Blades set just for Rampages because Dual Blades apply Blast the most often and Teostra Soul gives you a slightly better Blast proc chance. This will ensure you're leveling up the absolute fastest you can which not only makes your Rampages faster and even easier but you're rewards are tied to your level at the end of the Rampage which can still let you get full rewards even if you miss a quest like say the RNG dependent Villager repel quest. Makes Rampages far more tolerable since you have to do less of them overall.

ALSO

If you didn't know. While riding a monster you are NOT limited to 2 attacks. Just experiment with your left stick directions (or WASD on keyboard) while attacking.

Monsters sometimes can have 4-6 available attack moves, long range included.

One other interesting Tip I learned is that if you need to sharpen your weapon mid fight and dont want to be locked to the animation,
you can sheathe your weapon, ride your palamute and then sharpen your weapon,
this allows you to move around while sharpening your weapon in the middle of fights

7:33
For killed monsters, at the 10-second countdown, go to the map screen and ready to fast travel to your base, then try to listen to the "Shamizen" (the Japanese guitar-like instrument) in the victory music. As you hear the first tone, proceed to fast travel. You should get the quest complete during the black screen between the wirebug animation, and landing animation, this will send you directly to the rewards screen.

For captured monsters, wait for the first descending flute to finish, then fast travel to your base.

Good tips! Gotta' note also that gathering from a zinogre, especially an apex, is a bigger deal than just some bugs (which are already good for filling in zinogre point values for equipment or selling for stacks of zenny), too; you can also get shockfur/electrofur and apex shockshells from them.

Also, fireblight from the red vents is nice, but I like waterblight from the blue ones more. Waterblight increases the HZVs (hitzone values) of all parts, which means greater damage, but also means that Weakness Exploit can trigger where it otherwise wouldn't, thus a lot more damage and, thanks to Master's Touch, a lot less sharpness loss. It's a great time to break otherwise resilient parts, like bazel or apex rathalos wings, basarios tails, and more.

Mushrooms are really efficient for Motley Mix because you get a fairly high yield of the item that you were going to combine them into, herbal medicine, and more dango tickets than you can spend! Using points on raw meat is fine and all, but gathering shrooms is certainly already on the to-do list, and it basically ensures that you never have to pay for a meal and suffer low skill activation chances.

You forgot scale and stone lizards in maximizing loot, tip use a kuni and don't kick them, you'll get 3 drops instead of 1

The vertical jump with the wire bug has about a 15%-20% decrease in time it takes to regenerate compared to the right bumper jump

In the volcano you can also trigger the lava with a large bomb, so you do not need to use the monster's bonk

If you are farming Bnahabra and Alteroth parts, Spread 3 is the best way to do it.

If you stay under a minimum amount of damage, the bugs won't explode.Spread 3 (uncharged) will stay below this minimum and is much faster than waiting on poison.

For number 9, I've found out another Wirebug technique that I've seen almost no-one use, although it might be a little situational.

If you're out of Wirebugs and still want to climb up a wall from the ground, you don't have to wait for a recharge! All you have to do is do a wire fall maneuver like you would do *with* wirebugs, and do that right against a wall. While you won't jump very high, you will still latch on to the wall and climb up as if you had used a wirebug!

4:13 another very good way to use bombs on a sleeping monster is placing them in a row along the body and letting a cb saed wake up. That damage is second only to the great sword true charge slash, plus the element explosions will detonate the bombs so others dont have to worry about them

I discovered the animation skip for the quest ending by myself, and it feels really nice to have a way to skip over things so I can get back to beating up monsters :)
