As anticlimactic and uninspired as this scene may have been, I like that it's Qui-Gon the one who says "Every Jedi who ever lived, lives in you". The words of the one who started it all were the ones that ultimately made Rey realize what she was capable of. Then again, having no Force ghosts appearing at all was (among some other things) the lost opportunity of the century.

I feel like the main reason the brought Palpatine back was because they killed off Snoke and the realized oh shit! We have no big bad. Bring back Palpatine and retcon everything Anakin and Luke has done and went through.

Thank goodness they finally managed to defeat the enemy of all 9 star wars mov.... wait? They already killed him? 3 episodes ago? He survived? What an epic reve... wait? It wasn't epic? It was just thrown in last minute? I am sure the back story on this was gre... no? Just completely random? Rey is more powerful than anyone? I bet she had a lot of train... wait? No training and she's more powerful than Yoda?!?!

This is like an end boss fight that turns out to be rather anti-climatic leading you to question your money and time investment in the game and wondering if you can still get a refund.
