The weapon which started the whole weight gate fiasco, and the roll everyone is chasing, actually dropped! Envious arsenal with bait and switch. This combination does infact make Chill inhibitor just incredible, even surpassing the edge transit for best heavy grenade launcher option.
As I will show against a few dungeon bosses this weapon is capable of putting out great damage numbers with simple rotations, and this will work with anything. As long as you have 2 weapons with ammo capable of activating bait and switch and reloading the chill inhibitor with envious arsenal simulatiously.
Against atraks I used a prismatic titan build with cuirass of the falling star as this allowed for multiple thundercrash uses with its ability to regenerate super energy on melee final blows.
Otherwise I used a prismatic warlock build as they have a great burst super in star eater nova bomb and have a lot of tools in their kit to assist with chill inhibitor.
Including:
Facet of command freezes to reload equipped weapons.
Star eater novabomb for burst damage.
Unravel damage via charged melee.
Weaken grenades in transcendent.
Passive damage using hellion.

Used a chill clip chill inhibitor with rime coat on corrupted puppeteer and did just under 9m damage using this facet, dumped all my heavy nearly instantly and just cycled two other GLs the rest of the time

The only thing about this clip that upsets me, tending to use wither in almost every build of mine in the end. Don’t direct hit him if you’re gonna freeze with stasis. It’ll cancel the extra damage wither would’ve done. Not a whole lot of damage, but it’s still extra damage. Besides that, very satisfying dps rotation! 👌🏻

I love chill but Edge transit is better because its not a rapid frame.
