In this game I played against @Xadrez_XequeMatos at a blitz tournament in Maia, Portugal. I ended up getting a completely winning position in less than 1 minute and wanted to show you the game, hope you enjoy :D

Hi! I'm the guy in the video 🤣 I messed up the move order in the opening and that got me in this super sad position ahah. I enjoyed playing with Anna during the Streamers Blitz Cup 😃

Hello, Anna. I created a variation of the Cow opening I call the Manatee, or Sea Cow, opening 🤭.
It’s not a great opening but I’ve had some success with it.

When I was in college, a friend of mine in the dorm liked to play chess, so we would sit down and play chess. I knew how to play - but I had never studied theory at all. So, after losing 3-4 games, I headed to the campus library to study up on chess theory. (This is where I learned about the Sicilian defense - which my friend hated when I played it). I also happened to find a small paperback on chess theory from Bobby Fischer. I found the book fascinating, because his entire theme was ATTACK. The book was fool of examples of how to attack from all kinds of positions. His biggest advice was always look for a way to attack.
Watching this reminded of when I read that book. Great job in the tournament!

I thought Nxe6 instead of Rhe1 was better.

Awesome game! Thanks for mentioning the alarm. I had to pause the video just to find out where it's coming from. And when I continued watching, that's when you mentioned it. 😁

This video would have greatly benefited with a little analysis at 6:01. That eval bar was rapidly moving toward a black advantage.

the good thing I like about blitz is, you can watch it live and its exciting. with classical the only way I can watch it is with a ''Anna Cramling Edit''.

Hi Anna

Thank you for showing us the game, and yes, absolutely I did enjoy it!! It's very instructional having you explain and demonstrate essential chess principles from move 5 onwards and see how you took advantage of the space and strong centre.

Perhaps the Nimzo-Indian 4.Qc2 line should be renamed 'The Cramling Attack' !

It looks like, at the point during your attack when his pawn was at e6 and he played Kd6, had he instead played Qf8, that would have been 'something' of a neutralizing move

In general it is joyful, even endearing sometimes to watch your episodes .
Unfortunately, you activate sometimes the common disease of using violent language in commenting on chess dynamics . That is very sad and demeaning . Why continue worldwide violent dynamics, rather nurture true ‘Chess Culture .’
There is so much more to Chess .so much more to learn and celebrate, so much more meaningfulness . Investigate the great value of chess for common life dynamics and avoid the demeaning, rather stupid contamination into violent war dynamics .
