The name Lucifer is simply a translation of 'Morning Star' into Latin.
His real name 'Helel' does contain the 'el' suffix. Lucifer and Satan are different beings, and 'Satan' (meaning opposer or deceiver) also has an 'el' suffix in his real name, Samael. Do your research!

Thanks for the inspiring histories very interesting. The thought entered my mind. Why did GOD make Lucifer knowing he would hv sin? But the Bible said GOD creation everything, and it was good. This leaves me with answers because GOD knows everything He the beginning and end, so GOD created Lucifer to die? But the Bible says GOD is love and He wants none to perish but hv everlasting life. God created Satan on purpose. He gave him all the attributes needed for Lucifer to sin. Beauty, intelligent, power and standing. You see for God's overall plan to work he needed a tempter. Someone that could test his creation. He is a tool in the hand of God.

The falling of a high ranking angel and a third of his angels speaks volumes against the sovereignty of the false God being preached by the world today. Not to mention the hypocrisy of that God creating evil angels in heaven and then telling his beloved creation (Man),  27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. The evil and suffering in this world is man's doing not some fabled fallen angel. When someone is tempted to do something that they know is wrong they have a little debate in their head and lie to themselves and make excuses to justify the action they want to take. Just like the story of Eve and the talking serpent. A talking serpent is a fable; 2 Tim 4:4 (KJV). A talking serpent symbolic of the lust of the flesh; is truth. The power of those that give into this serpent is what God calls Satan, or to be more specific, the power of those that use and abuse the laws of God “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” the poor, fatherless, and widows, is what God calls Satan, a principality (a government). And any who support him, through lies or evil plans (mind), or with works (hands) are his angels. Hence the mark of the beast.

God works all things to His good. I believe God knows all and sees all, when he creates us all he knows the possible outcome of all choices we can make with our free will. I don’t think He skips ahead to see what choice we will make though. He hopes we will all make the best decision and will serve Him but He allows us the option to choose. In other words, whatever choice we can make, God sees what that ends up becoming based on our free will. Lucifer was created with the purpose to serve God but he chose to rebel against God, leading him to becoming Satan and God’s ultimately adversary. He could’ve chosen to serve God and be His ultimate advocate. It’s the same with us humans, we can choose to serve God but we have the free will and choice to choose.
