How to Solve Algebraic Equations by Inspection

EXPLANATION: There are many ways to solve equations. One of them is by inspection. This is a very effective method for quick solution. We are getting the answers by inspection in these examples.
Qa. x/2 = 14. Ask the question -- half of what is 14. You get the answer 28.
You could also see it the other way : what is twice 14?
Qb. p + 7 = 12. 5 added to 7 is 12 and so p = 5.
Qc. 3y = 27. The question is 3 times what is 27. We know 3 time 9 is 27. So, y = 9
Qd. 12 - a = a. This is interesting. Watch the video to understand.
