Michaelangelo's "Morbidly Obese David" really ties the whole thing together.

Oh to be a dog being lovingly cared for by Colm and resting by a roaring fireplace on a comfy bed while he plays music and sings. Truly that’d be heaven on Earth.

Just like your dog, one of my cats came over to enjoy the music. She sits still and listens while she closes her eyes and lets the music sink in. I thank you also in her name!

Gaeilge: Iontach mar i gcónaí. Coinnigh an ceol iontach ag teacht, a Cholm.
English: Fantastic as always. Keep the amazing music coming, Colm.

The song is based on the real-life relationship between poet Patrick Kavanagh and Hilda Moriarty.
On Raglan Road of an Autumn day
I saw her first and knew,
That her dark hair would weave a snare
That I might someday rue.
I saw the danger and I passed
Along the enchanted way.
And I said, "Let grief be a fallen leaf
At the dawning of the day."
On Grafton Street in November, we
Tripped lightly along the ledge
Of a deep ravine where can be seen
The worth of passion play.
The Queen of Hearts still making tarts
And I not making hay;
Oh, I loved too much and by such and such
Is happiness thrown away.
I gave her gifts of the mind,
I gave her the secret signs,
That's known to the artists who have known
The true gods of sound and stone.
And her words and tint without stint
I gave her poems to say
With her own name there and her own dark hair
Like clouds over fields of May.
On a quiet street where old ghosts meet
I see her walking now,
And away from me so hurriedly
My reason must allow.
That I had loved, not as I should
A creature made of clay,
When the angel woos the clay, he'll lose
His wings at the dawn of day

This song is a beautiful choice to show how passionate your singing is. And you don't have to lose subtlety to be passionate either. They need to use you as an example in fine arts music courses.

This is why we keep going. Those of us who know. Thank you for this. We live in a world of uncertainty these days. but one thing is for certain. Our homeland will always be there for us. No matter where we may be.

This is the coziest video I've ever seen. The sweater, the crackling fireplace, the dog slowly falling asleep to Colm's soothing voice...

I was only familiar with the Raglan Road poem; I didn't realize it was such a pretty song! And this new setup is one of your best ones yet. The roaring fireplace, the things on the mantle, everything feels so soft and warm. And Bailey was such a good girl! I would definitely not object to seeing more of her.

I recently lost a forever friend who had helped me heal a heap and I'd saved his life as well. This tune helped me grieve aloud and be thankful for his life.
