After a 50% wage cut in 1933 the average income was $4500 per year. Adjust to inflation that's $95k in today's "money". The average wage today according to debt clock is $39k.
The average price of a house in 1933 was $3900. That means a years wages would buy you a house. Today average cost of a house is $407, 000. Do the math. Wake the F up people.
