This actually makes sense from the far-Left perspective. It purges all those who resist their doctrines from key occupations. Only those who accept their mandates will be retained or hired to fill vacancies. This is particularly worrisome for the military and police, who will be called upon in the future to enforce arbitrary rules and pro-Left edicts.

Those of us still working should start an emergency fund for these people while we are still able to work and contribute to it. These people are brave and I would like to support them.
