In this episode of Tips & Tricks from the Tucker Team, I'll be resuming work on the quilt top I started on the previous episode, demonstrating the process of piecing a project that's set on-point. I'll be showing the continued process for piecing the quilt top, trimming your oversized setting triangles and preparing your project to add borders.

If I really want to go simple, I won't put a border on a block on point setting. In that case, I won't do the final trim down until AFTER I've done the quilting! The extra fabric on the oversize setting triangle's ensures there's enough fabric to square the blocks accurately!

Love these two tutorials - freezer paper in the last one was good and setting the triangles oversize works so well. Love the colours by the way! Thank you. Looking forward to the borders.

Make it up as you go along. A relaxing technique. I did that with a baby quilt. Baby and Mommy loved it.
