Should You Change Glocks Barrels?

Amen!!! Great topic of discussion and clarification for all those fudds out there hating on custom built Glocks or alternate part swapping. I think thats one of the most satisfying attributes to Glocks so much so that I come to the realization that I have 7 custom Glocks (various models) and only 1 that stayed OEM. Regardless I have tested them all and have found them to run reliably regardless of it staying OEM or various parts changed out aside from OEM internals in all my Glocks. Again props to your videos brother your educating those not in the know, Hope everything is well on your side of life, stay dangerous 💯🔥🍻

I bought my Glock 26 back in June 2000, l shot thousands of rounds and that barrel still accurate.

You are literally the only good Glock 26 content I watch. There’s not a lot of content on the Glock 26.

I have two KKM barrels and both have been flawless. My G23 KKM barrel has over 5K rounds with zero issues. They are definitely pricey!

I've owned a few sub compact Glocks. Since 2018 or so. I currently have a new Glock 26 gen 5. I added a True Precision PVD gold barrel. The OEM barrel was fine but had some minor scuffs, scratches. The gold barrel & a Glock Store stainless steel guide rod was more cosmetic than anything.

The twist, color and you can also make it a little bit lighter...But you are right it is good to go right out of the box...can it make the gun preform better maybe a little...it really depends on the shooter...I love flat tactical triggers and it's fun to customize your gun ...I do wish that they came with better quality sights ...we would pay the extra $50 ...

I mean how innovative does a gun need to be. I like Glocks because of the simplicity and reliability. It's an easy function weapon system. In a bad situation even with somebody who has little training they can pickup a Glock to defend themselves.

I agree that thousands of rounds can be sent thru glock barrels and they're still accurate, but I have replaced my G22 .40cal barrel with a threaded barsto barrel, and as for set-up ... I don't customize the set-up (colors, etc..) just standard out of the box ... and I do have one with a dedicated light ... otherwise, I carry out of the box ... and they work, without question ...

I changed my barrel so I can shoot my cast lead bullet and fully support my brass at 6 o'clock position.Polygonal rifling and loose chambers in oem glock are the things that I would change as a reloader.

I like to customize too! I have a lot of Glocks and now I have a 19 gen 5 and I just get a Wilson Combat barrel. It fits perfect, better looks and shots better.

@SPN Firearms I have about 2000 rounds thru a 26 with a G19.5 marksmen barrel. Its a beast and eats everything, accurate as $hit. Its a no brainer on the G26.4 and down imo to upgrade to it. Conceals the same and you get a little extra velocity. Same reliability just pokes out the front a half inch lol

I have gen 5 17 and from what i understand, Glocks with the "3D" marking on the barrel leaves a "fingerprint" on the bullet and that is searchable in a data base.
My 17 was a blue label. So that may be why..
But I changed the barrel out because I ain't having no shit like that

Agency arms barrel is what I run in my Glock 19. I did notice better accuracy right away, compared to the Glock factory barrel.

I always keep my carry glocks stock other than sights. OEM glocks are the best 100% reliable. I do have a few gucci glock builds that are awesome but I'd trust my oem glock more for a carry gun

What I'm trying to search for is is it possible to change the barrel length of your Glock by replacing a 6-in barrel? Is it possible?

Like ending up on the bad side of social media while researching glock I found a very large thread of people with pictures of their glock blown up and the main problem most of them gave was the barrel! Idk how true any of that was but it made me go out and get a new barrel 😂 always need an exuse for a threaded barrel ya know 😉

people should not be messing very much with their Glocks, or any guns for that matter. When you get a Glock, all you need to do is change the crappy sights add a flashlight or laser. if you want other than that, leave it alone you’re not smarter than the Glock corporation
