Jones did a lot for only 8 min, even with his 8 minutes I could already feel how different the Lakers were on defense making it harder for the warriors to go inside and being a lob threat on the other end

Great video. Kostas should be cut for Jones so the lakers and have the 2 spots open for the buyout market.

A two way player makes more sense. Drop kostas and sign Damian Jones then you can still have two roster spots. Also trade Alfonzo McKennie and Wes Matthews if the right deal is available and also bring Ellington. Also hopefully Ariza and Whiteside get bought out and comes into play for the lakers.

keep kostas, waive cacok. kostas has better length and imo more growth potential. while cacok has a lot of energy, he plays the 4 but is not tall enough for that position and he looks like a finished product. he should be a 3&d but doesn't shoot 3s.

This kid looks like a keeper. They don’t need him to do much other than rebound, block shots, catch lobs and fit in. I definitely think they’ll give him another 10 day just to get a good sense of how he does those things. Due to the new play I tourney there won’t be that many buyout candidates. They don’t need need Hill but(I actually see him going to the clips) and Arica already has the inside track bcuz he’s a former Laker and Pelinka has a prior relationship with him and if Arica came come in and stick he’d probably take Wes minutes.
