Mamba could have been one of the greatest coaches or owners of a team. A true student of the game, and can explain it to anyone. He is definitely missed in this world.

Honestly, it’s not just knowing that. It’s the reaction time that amazes me more

“What the hell?” Mamba knew he was retired, he didn’t mind giving away his secrets 😂

I will never forget when he was giving an interview about guarding players. He was saying he is sad he retired before figuring out Durant. He said he figured out how many dribbles he takes when he goes left or right, how many seconds he holds the ball before shooting, or how many pump fakes he does. He really did pay attention to all these things, and this video is just a small example of his brilliance as a basketball player. You will be missed Kobe.

Reminds me of how Dennis Rodman observed how players shot, how the ball spinned, how it hit the board and he was able to know how the ball would go through the air if it was likely to hit the board or the rim and would even predict when and where rebound would go and get to the ball first.

He’s underrated as really being brilliant. He was super intelligent. He was obviously a basketball genius but he was also well read and spoke multiple languages.
