The hardest part is finding 7 other boards 😅

This might actually be the best ollie tutorial out there with spencer barton's. Thanks! Even after 5 years of skating it's always good to hear pro tips

I’m nearly 39, i can still ollie 4 boards easy, 5 on a good day. I ollied 7 boards back when I was younger. I don’t have the best of Health. my body took a good beating over the years. Been skating again now for almost 2 years. Weekend sessions only, when I find the time. Happy with the progress. These tutorials make all the difference. Wish I had you tube 20-25 years ago. There basically wasn’t much to skate back in those day’s. So we skated flatground and streetspots a lot. That’s how my ollies got quite good fast. Can’t wait to hit the skateparks again.

Biggest lightbulb moment for me learning to ollie recently was that in order to pop, you actually have to bounce the board off the ground. Practicing popping the tail down and picking up the board is almost like the first step.

Hi person reading this, don't quit skating! It may be hard, but it was 6 months of skating every single day from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm for me to learn how to ollie. I've been skating for about a year and a half now, and can already tre flip! Never ever ever give up! Keep trying, and you will become amazing! Keep pushing, I will if you will, Goodbye, and go conquer your dreams!

I can ollie over 8 boards. Flat, on top of each other.... With the wheels and trucks removed...and no grip tape on them.

Once you've got the basics of the ollie down. Pop and lift your back foot as high as possible. Get it right up there like you going to knee yourself in the chin!! The front foot will naturally do its thing once the muscle memory is there.

Skate School Jonny Giger is my favorite technical wizard going back to the basics the foundation of skating. ❤🍫🇨🇭 I love Sweden!

When you really think about it. Jonny gets paid to wear shoes on his hands & that's kinda bad ass.

I think a lot of people (including me) try to improve and also look for tutorials likes this during quarantine :) So this helps a lot and keeps us all entertained

Hey Jonny! Just came back here to say that watching this video a couple weeks ago added the final peice of the puzzle for my first ollie. Thanks so much!

Johnny Giger, you biscuit eater. You single handedly grew my ollie by seven sizes just with your tip at 0:58. I'd forever been popping with my big toe joint in the center of the tail and by turning and putting my toe there like you suggested, my board is now stuck to my feet. I feel like there are suction cups on the bottom of my shoes. I GOT POWER WITH THIS POP

Thank you, sir

I learned to Ollie 20 centimeters last week. I did it EXACTLY the way he explained. No other tutorial is so good. You’re amazing

This helped out so much. Alot of videos from reputable content creators where telling me the wrong back foot placement for the pop. Thanks so much.

He gives me so much confidence that I never have while cruising around. Everyone has to start somewhere

Honestly man, the tips on foot placement and weight distribution at around 3:50 are so underrated.
For a good minute I've been wondering why I'd have to immediately step off the board forward or backward and now I know.
Thanks, Jonny!

Great advice. Most tricks that I learned during my career happened at night while sleeping or when falling asleep.
