What I also miss is the challenge of the lotus missions.
They used to be released together with the gift of the lotus missions, but they gave much better rewards.
I was a small tenno back then, and thats how I got a taste of power, because it wasnt mr locked or anything. I could join a lvl1000 mission as an mr5 tenno, and the big guys in the squad carried the mission.
Honestly that's probably one of the big reasons I stuck with the game for so long, it was inspirational, how strong you can get with time.

Yeah, seeing Jack'O'Naut figurine in Daughter's shop just made me realise how barebones holiday events are nowdays. New players don't even get the reference from that noggle in the shop. I wish DE will reintroduce those old tactical alerts, even with lesser rewards, those are still fun.

There had been another Halloween mission too where the fog was extra thick on the level, and all the wild kubrow things inflicted toxin status effects or something.

Back during the Hallowed Nightmares days, I had a dream where the boss was Lech Kril with a Jack'O Lantern head and wielding a Scindo (basically just the Horseless Headless Horsemann from TF2)
Also he was named "Mr. Fodder"

TBH 2024 was my first halloween event and since I came back playing around 2022 I never bothered those event because I was playing on and off

Man, oh man! I remember seeing those Lvl 9999 infested and thinking, “Oh fuck. This is going to be a bad time.” But, I think they made us basically invincible during that. I was horrified.
