My #RVPlans to leave #BigBendOfTheColorado and get to #Quartzsite early totally derailed-twice! This full-time RV travel day turned into a spontaneous shift featuring blazing heat, a pizza stop, and a late-night RV park escape from the swelter.

If you've ever tried to outrun the desert sun, you know the struggle is real. I started off aiming for laundry in the cooler temps but ended up rolling with the punches (and sweating through them). You'll see what changed my plans, why a quick stop turned into a major reroute, and how fellow RVers like my friend Lisa play a big part in the journey.
