What is going on with Star Wars hunters?

Star Wars Hunters is a new Star Wars game that hasn't been released yet...kinda. It was supposed to come out in 2021, but was pushed to mid 2022. The thing is, you can download and play this game on iOS and Android right now in certain countries. Whilst the Nintendo Switch version is nowhere to be seen.

So the reason game developers do this limited rollout is to sweat test the connectivity and small player base on balance. When I was in the industry Australia was perfect since their internet covers all the issues every region would have.

Brawlstars came out in Canada a year before the official release, no one knew about the game till it came out and I would mention I was playing it many months before on videos and people didn’t believe me

I think they are having latency/packet loss issues with the game. I demo'd it in SWC and asked the dev how their network/latency is the game going and he responded with "not that great"

They delayed it because they haven’t figured out yet how to Canadaify it, in regards to Bill-C11.

Speculations from behind the scenes have led certain insiders to believe developers will be forced to completely halt development, to be able to make major changes to the game.

Some of the possible changes are that, in-game characters can only wear red and white clothing, replacing lightsabers for maple leaves, vehicles as moose, and laser blaster fire for maple syrup.

Looks good, but I will always miss my favorite mobile game. Star wars force arena.
Edit: I did not realize star wars commander was discontinued. I play for a few days but I stop. I thought I will play it later.

I’ve played this at Star Wars Celebration 2022 at their booth. It was fun and definitely comes across as an Overwatch game but Star Wars.

What I found interesting that some people may not enjoy but I feel compelled to tell everyone, you do NOT control your basic attacks but simply aim toward enemies and you will be attacking with the characters default. There are controls for movement and special abilities that you actually press on screen but basic attacks will require you to focus on enemies and aim for critical hits (headshots).

We only played 3 games of King of the Hill mode and it was fun but the fact that basic attacks were taken away from the players control was interesting and made us think outside of spamming an attack button to perform differently. I’m excited to play this when it comes out, graphics wise and gameplay was really good.
