Bluey, the beloved Australian children's show, has subtly acknowledged LGBTQ+ representation in its season three finale, which aired this week. While the episode primarily focused on Bluey's family moving and a wedding, it quietly introduced diversity with Bluey's friend, Pretzel, mentioning his two moms when discussing his pet guinea pig. The mention passes in a flash, but with some kids having two moms, this matters a lot. This last episode named “The Sign'' has received an average score of 9.9 out of 10 from nearly 1,000 user ratings on IMDb. So, can we just say, it is "the sign" of acceptance for queer families?

I’m so glad that there is more inclusivity than ever in Bluey! Bluey is one of if not my absolute favorite show and I’m so excited for what is to come! I really hope that the creators don’t back down and maybe have more tidbits of lgbtq+ representation. Have a great day everyone :D ♥︎
