Had an incredible time shooting this with Christian over a few days. A project that I’ll never forget doing with an incredibly strong message.

I didn’t realise the impact this short film would have on so many. Thank you all for being so open and sharing a small part of your own story. As someone who struggles with life myself reading your struggles has helped me too. So thank you! We’re in this together and you’re not alone!

I have just released a new short film called “The Void” it’s a short story about loneliness. Maybe you’ll get something from that one too.

This film is short, but long enough to send a powerful message about male mental health and the unfortunate stigma that still persisits around it. Leaving the military after a long time is probabaly more difficult than most realize. Many people who serve in all branches have experienced pain in their young lives.

As this film shows, even the best among us are not immune. First and foremost, SF members are also flesh and blood falible human beings who are not immune from the rigours of life like anyone else.

Best wishes to Craig for his new ventures in the US. I wish him, above all else, peace and happiness.

That's crazy, this and the Nairobi siege video randomly came up in my feed and I had them both in separate tabs with no idea who Christian Craighead was! What an absolute legend!

This video just saved me.

Edit: I hope those of you that replied see this edit. Thank you so much for replying with encouragement and support. 9 months ago I was in a place I wasn’t sure how to get out. Thanks to the support of others I made it out of that hole and have been living a good life. This short film wasn’t the only thing that saved me but it played a huge part in giving me the strength to put one foot in front of the other and pushing forward. Thank you again. 🙏🏼

It's such a beautiful video for anyone in a dark place. I think we men just suffer it alone. We don't talk about it even to our most dearest loved ones. Sometimes, talking helps temporarily, but only you can fix yourself. It's hard. It takes time, but it can be done. And you will fall again, but now you know how to get back up again.

Life's funny. I remember watching this video a while back when I thought I was going through a tough time. Then I had a proper tough time regarding my cardiac health . It's been a dark few months, getting there, and been feeling good, had a bad moment today, knocked me back, scared me but I then remembered how calming this video was back then and here I am watching it again. Life's odd.

I saw this video many times. I always come back. Chris is showing his other side. What he did in his life and especially in Nairobi is pure heroism. But he is a human just like us. To show his struggles, sadness, loneliness, frustrations etc. is so pure and I admire him for that. No one knows what is going behind closed doors... I absolutely love this man for what he stands for. Thank you for this film :).

Well: I’ve seen Craig on a few interviews recently and I’ve always been full of admiration but hats off to all involved.
I returned to my work today after three months absence ( motorbike crash not my fault; leg multiple fractures )
Tbh I got home and I was really low after realising, how insignificant in the work scheme of things I am. I wasn’t expecting marching bands and bunting but several “colleagues “ in a small/medium business didn’t even notice I’d been away. Three months!
So fuck it; master plan to go and do my own thing is now my no 1 priority.
I’ve been out the military 30years this month. Nobody gives a shite and it gets to me sometimes; well sod them. I’ll just get on with it on my own

I have often feared, should I choose to enter the darkness of my pain, I would not come back. "Just Come Back" hit me right in my Soul. How does one come back?

Thanks Chris - and thanks Tyler for making this. It's so hard to break the walls down - and no-one is coming - but it helps sometimes to know I'm not the only giant and mine is not the only garden. This has helped on a very difficult day, thank you.
