Tesco change INSULTS every customer!

All the big supermarkets need to remember that we are their customers. We are not unpaid employees who are expected to scan their own shopping and neither are we all thieves. Stop scanning your own shopping - you're a customer and deserve to be served by a trained checkout operator.

Seems pointless when you have shop lifters openly walking out with security tags still attached as they know nothing will be done by the store, police or the courts.

someone wanted to search my shopping after I PAID for it. I said certainly, but only with a POLICE officer doing the search as this is MY property. I will wait for police if you suspect me of theft, she said no need & decided not to search my bags

I have hated Tesco since childhood and have actively boycotted them for about 20 years!

I boycotted Tesco when they introduced a 2 price system, haven't darkened their door since.

If they don’t trust customers to do self service they should have operators at the tills 🤔

Meanwhile they axed my daughters job completely three months after moving her to manage a shop .She moved cities and took a lease on a house with a friend .They are closing bakery section, they cut office staff by half, got rid of till service in cafe and slashed many staffs hours I head office and are stopping putting cashiers on till early morning to save on the national insurance hike .bet the new CEO is still enjoying making his millions

They should worry less about shoplifting .. and worry more about giving all the stock they throw out on the daily to a good cause.

If they got rid of all the self-serve checkouts. Brought back customer facing operators at the checkouts. Then there wouldn't be any need to keep introducing more and more anti - customer measures to compensate for all of the drawbacks of having self-checkouts. And in the long run would probably save Tesco's money.

Open the checkouts and stop self checkouts. It's a way to reduce staff and make even more money. I think they were making enough money without self checkouts.

Become a Tesco security guard and watch while the ‘visitors’ just walk away with whatever they want😂

I think you'll find the people who fill a bag and walk out without approaching the tills (staffed or self scan) will just continue doing the same.

The Tesco adverts are really anoying. That's enough to stop me shopping there.
