Ditto on that 60 degrees on Mackinac!!! It's hot and humid in Texas! The highlight of my trip was meeting you and the opportunity to visit. It was a Bucket List trip for Doug and I that did not disappoint! Thank you for what you do and the inspiration you have given me to "garden on"!! The heat is the only thing I hate about gardening/yard work. How you keep at it in your area with such HOT weather (and being pregnant) is a testament to your love of your gardens and home. Here in Wisconsin the weather is beginning to cool and being outside is refreshing. 🌤🍎👒🌻🍏🍁 The air even seems to smell different; hinting at things to come.

I love the Hawthorne tree. It's just going to be gorgeous. Thanks for the meaning of persistent. Never paid attention to this when picking fruit bearing trees. Great to know!!!

Your bees are going to LOVE that crabapple! Used to have two massive crabapples outside my bedroom growing up and there were always bees on the blossoms.

They are FABULOUS in bloom, and prolific fruitless!
