As a blood donor I love the number its like a misle launch code but it saves lives . I do wish doctor shows would show this

The ports on the blood tubing are both white not one white one red. It doesn't matter which side you use either. The most important thing is the filter must be covered to prevent clots. Also to close the saline clamp before you open and run the blood to prevent saline to flow back up into the blood bag.

I’m confused what the blue band is? Can anyone explain? I understand what the paper is and the label on the bag and then of course the patent wrist band. But what is the blue band? And where does that go?

I live in Canada, its so weird to me to see "charges" on charting. We don't bill for procedures done in hospital. Go universal healthcare!!
