I’ve been to Pompeii and Herculaneum. They’re absolutely mind blowing. To be able to see such personal items and walk on the streets that Romans did gave me goosebumps. I’d waited over 50 years to make the trip, since I was 10 years old and learned about these places in school. I may not go back, but I have lots of pictures and amazing memories.

For number 7, it is believed that Teotihuacan was built by either the Olmecs or the Toltec people. If it was by the Olmecs, then it would be the earliest city ever built in the America’s, being nearly 1000 years before the Mayans would build their major cities. In short the Mayans copied much of their cities and buildings from the Olmecs. This why there is a similarity in the Teotihuacan and Tikal.

hiya, Katrina! good stuff, but my fave was the Neanderthal caves. 3 miles from the water? makes me wonder what was in that distance. forests, grasslands, villages? who knows? being under water now, it's almost impossible to find out. all we can do is speculate and extrapolate from other, similar areas.hopefully the tooth found will give us some clues. maybe give us an idea of what the child had eaten up til the time of it's death. might tell us what kind of land it was.
sssooo, Kat! are you doing away with the closing, too? hope not! Bye!

We are looking for life as we know it, but I believe that we need to start thinking differently.

"They were named after their tradition of burying urns full of cremation ashes in Fields" bruh we do the same thing and call those Fields cemeteries... They make other cultures sound so bizzare

The trees water probably took a very long time to go fresh.

The sound was found to be a signal from an old radio in Australia.

With regards to the "sound"., That would be a Galactic Burp due to indigestion.

Guatemala and Mexico are in CENTRAL America. You said the people who built the 2 cities, Tikal (Guatemala) and Teotihuacan (Mexico), were in South America. Wrong. 🙄
