Can’t believe I can watch Farscape on youtube 🎉 this is a day to celebrate. Amazing quality as well ❤. This show was among my first interactions with sci fi. I remember I was still in second grade when it was playing on a regular tv channel. Mind you there were no personal computers at the time (in Bulgaria around 2002). This as well Star Wars and Stargate 1994 were pretty much the only sci fi content I would get to see on tv. I am so glad I get to watch it again and revisit my origin of love for science fiction ❤❤❤. I wish more people watched it so that we could discuss the brilliance of the plot, characters, character developments, make up and practical effects. Far too underrated.

I have heard of Farscape before but have never seen it. Stumbled across this by accident today. What a show! I guess this first episode proves that old saying: be careful what you wish for. He wanted to go to space and by golly he sure ended up in space all right!!

Woohoo! And it's the correct 25fps transfer, unlike the horrible conversion done for the Anniversary bluray. I hope they put all the episodes up - more people should have the opportunity to see one of the most creative science fiction shows ever made. This really was a fabulous showcase of what can be done by an Australian TV crew.

PERFECT god damn show. PERFECT, so good :-) and looks better here than the ol' DVDs. seriously though, this is the best sci-fi show, really imaginative and great world building. cast = perfect too. so fine. nice to see the show getting attention again these days.

Finally a video with acceptable sound. I have got a version of farscape s1e1 where at the end you can't understand anything because of strange echoes. I have just downloaded your version to replace my faulty version.

This show looks incredible for 2003 (the cgi is a bit whiff, and very dark, but the sets, the puppets, and costume look pretty damn great, and the make up is excellent). I love these characters, and their dynamic. Ben Browder is a great lead, though I think he should have got a space suit lol.
Good god, Claudia Black is just so gorgeous in everything, but she's so perfectly cast in this.
